Tamiya makes aluminum damper kit here They are Tamiya so they are probably smooth as hell and pretty. You can get it cheaper through a vendor.

I use GMade Team Zero 104mm aluminum dampers from the junfac website here I got them in black but I dont see that size in black listed anymore?? They come with all kinds of stuff so you can make them up as coilovers or use them in the cantilever setup. The springs aren't great, hard as a rock so I don't use them.

I have the Tamiya shocks (crawler specific kind) and they are very nice looking and smooth. plus 10% longer stroke than the stock setup.

oh....so sad
The GMade Team Zero 104mm aluminum dampers from the junfac is sold out.....didn't see anymore for 104mm size from their website.:-(
By the way,
Is the spring too tough or ??
Actually, I want to upgrade my shock, but don't know which shock is better for CR01 tho.
But,I will try to email JunFac first anyway.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does anyone has any ideas for upgrade the shock for CR01??

I have to agree with everyone who said to stay away from integy. I've thrown away more of their garbage than I've ever kept, and their shocks are the worst of their products.

If you're still running your cantilevers then I'd say go with the tamiya shocks, you know they'll fit, and you know they'll work correctly.

If you're doing away with the cantilevers then I'd take some measurements and head down to your lhs see if they have a shock that's close to the length you want.

My Cr01 still has the stockers on it, leaky as hell but they still work lol

I was told to use 25 weight oil in the front shocks and the rear right, but to use 40 weight in the rear left to help with torque twist.
