| Ford Bronco from Canada Hi all. I've been looking around for a while now and finaly got myself cr01. So 10 hours later I ended up with this. Then I didn't like the idea of wheel base being too long so I cut the body but changed my mind and made a flat bed for it. Then I looked at some skid plates (to cover my axles ) for sale - they all too small. So I got some allum. and just made one. Slides over rocks and other staff great. Then my son was about to put some logs on Ford but everything was falling so I modified a bit. For the wheels - I sanded allum finish away and painted it black. So I got black on black - no damage visible. I like doing stuff myself kind od inventing something not just wait for my mailman bring it to me... |

very nice work making things work! The rear bed looks great. You should try to make it into a dump body.

| For the front plate there is a template (in mm) but I have made front and back parts longer so it would go ok over rocks and as I have found out lately works just fine on snow too. And finaly I had time to make rear skid plate. It has a bit different design. And here you can see how it looks from the bottom. Central skid plate on production stage. And last update is up roof intake pipe. I am just not sure if i am going to keep that cup. And may be I will change color of those screws. comments are welcome. that is why we're all here |

What did you use to make the snorkel? How did you bend it?

Hi. So for that snorkel I used white styrene pipe about 1/4 inch. Used shrink tube to give it some nice look than heated it up with heat gun to give it the shape i wanted. Just dont heat it too much otherwise it might melt down. For the mud flaps - I realy like them myself too. |

I got something to show you. Started to make wide fenders. Lets see how I will like it. As you can see it is not very Bronco style but I think they gonna look good because they will be in one line with rear fenders. At the same time front tires wont throw dirt in drivers face on a muddy road in a rainy day. |
