Default steering help

there has to be something else that can help this chassis steering. i already have the 4ws but its still not good enough? i watched a video of an acx-10?? and the wheels just turned so much more. is there anyway to use the knuckles from that chassis on the cr-01???

Have you adjusted the endpoint on your controller so the servo gives as much throw as possible? With 4WS you should be able to turn on a dime even with the diffs locked.

Those won't fit the cr01 axles, bearing and shaft sizes are all different.

Steering is the biggest single downfall of the cr01 axles. There are areas on the knuckles you can shave down to get more throw, and you can grind down the cups on the stubs, but it still won't compare to what an axial axle can get.

im going to try the end point throw on my radio now. thanks for the replys. im still happy i went with the cr-01. maybe just because its from tamiya?
