| Rear steer BEC?
Ok, today i tried to setup my CR-01 with rear steer. The only problem i encountered was that the new servo for the reer steer was glitching. The front steer servo was operating as normal. Do i need to install a BEC for the rear servo only? or do i need to install one for both? And if so, how do i do it? And where can i get a BEC from here in Aus, or do i need to order one for O/S? I have a 3 channel 2.4ghz radio setup with toggle switch for front steer, both steer, crab steer or rear steer only. Im also running a Novak Rooster ESC with 55turn novak brushed combo. NiMh batteries too. Cheers, Alan. |

Joat, the original front steer servo works fine at the moment, so can i run that as normal and just run the BEC for the rear servo only?

Get a 10amp Castle BEC. You will only need 1 to drive both servos. Just remember to cut the red wire on your rooster(or buy a servo extension and cut the red wire on that therefore preserving your rooster`s cabling) IF you dont cut the red wire, and use a seperate BEC as well you stand a very good chance at letting all of the smoke out of the servo`s and or the receiver! |

Don`t cut the wire , just remove it from the plug and either heat shrink or tape back on the lead . Never know if your gonna need it again .
