| My Cr-01
I finally got around to trying to finish my Cr-01. Upgrades included aluminum servo beds, heavy duty diff lockers, steel cvd driveshafts, Novak 55t and Rooster crawler esc, aluminum chassis side plates and Traxxas big bore shocks. Got some paint on it over the weekend and now I just need to do some touch up and deatil painiting on it. I used Pactra Competition Orange for the body and Pactra Sprint White for the hardtop and backing color. Suspension is set up stock and I will make small changes here and there until I get it to my liking. Still need to order some aluminum beadlock rings and knuckles for it. Yeah...I know! I cant paint for shit!!! Last edited by soilwork; 01-24-2010 at 11:09 AM. |

how do you steer that thing?? just kidding Are you going to come out to some of our GTG when it gets warmer? I have my CR at them and does pretty well. I never got the aluminum servo bed because as it is I had to shave down the front area of the plastic bed just so the servo arm would clear it. I don't run a servo saver so the arm sits back closer to the servo and would hit the forward parts of the servo bed. Then the rear one I cut down just into a v shape leaving only the parts that attach to the axle and upper links. Hmm, that might actually look good in aluminum.
