|  Best electrics for CR 01
Gonna pull the trigger today, I looked at the combo on tower but I want a radio that I can switch over to a dedicated crawler when I get one built.Good servo and ESC. Ive been out of the loop for a long time so any help is appreciated thanks guys Dustin |

Meeting a price point? Spektrum DX3R radio Here Holmes Hobbies BR-XL ESC Here HiTec 7950TH servo Here Motor is included with the kit, but it's the typical Tamiya silver can. Not very good. Anything from the cheaper Integy motors for $20 up to a nice handwound motor for $55 are out there. I'll let you decide on that one. Batteries, lots of battery options. I'd seriously consider lipo packs. I prefer the Hyperion G3 VX series. |

I used to run a 35 turn motor in my CR with a 2s lipo on the rear axle. With a 16 tooth pinion as the kit 20 tooth for me was overgeared. I now run a novak goat 18.5 in it with a 13 tooth pinion. Going brushless in my cr was the other best thing that I ever did with it. The other being fitting it out with a Kamikaze chassis. |
