Cool CR-01 Best sus setup with whats in box?

Hi i am Andrew and live in france, been looking on your great site for a few daya since i got my cr01 toyota. there is way to much info for me! I was looking for for some pics and info of the best way to set up the suspention with only whats in the box as my nearest hobby store is 80 miles away.

OK, using box stock parts, its a lot of trial and error so not all set ups work in all places.

First, see Bok's thread about tying the cantilever arms together so there is no play there.

Second, see Eepee's thread to learn how to flip and space your rear upper suspension links to the top side of the link mount.

Those two things should be standard.

After that is all up spring and stabilizer bar placement for more or less articulation.

Personally I have the medium springs and medium stabilzer in the rear and hard springs and soft stabilzer in front. I use the hard in front because I don't like the weight of the battery to sag the suspension, but the firmness is offset with the thinnest stabilizer bar so there is still some flex there but not too much

You have to upload your pictures to a server or a service like photobucket then copy the URL (web address) and click on the insert picture icon (when you create a post you will see it) and paste your URL there. Hope this helps.

If you live far from a hobby store your best bet is online shopping.

will add some more pics when i finnish the body as is it is stock for now
