Default Pin mount wheels on a CR01

Sorry for the newb question, but I had never bought pin mount wheels before (only hex mount wheels).

So will a pin mount wheel mount to the CR01 axles without modification?

I was thinking that a pin mount wheel is like a hex mount wheel with the difference being that the hex is essentially part of the wheel (ie a wheel hex glued to the wheel).

Please correct any/all of my misunderstanding.

This is the wheel I would like to buy for my CR01 (either the 2.2 or the 1.9 version)

doing a more refined search, i think i found a link that answered my question

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=237984&highlight=pin+mount

http://www.rc4wdstore.com/2/product_info.php?products_id=1017

These two links and the pic in the rc4wd link appear to show my understanding of pin mount is correct, and also that the normal drive axle pins will most likely fall out on a regular basis. So when using a pin mounted wheel, it is best to use a roll pin.

According to the CR01 manual, the stock drive axle pin is 2x9.8mm. The link I provided is for a 2x10mm. This should work, right?

Any corrections (or your blessing ) to my understanding is appreciated. I'd like to know for sure before I make the purchases.

My brother has a set of rovers on those wheels (2.2), and i cant see how its possible for the pin to fall out unless you somehow forgot to put the wheel nut on The groove is deep enough that the whole pin fits in with a mm or two to spare, and the groove aint much longer than the pin.
