I'm in love with the OEM steelies, but need to know if they'll fit my CR01 bronco. Thanks!!!

as long as it will fit a 12mm hex you'll be fine...i recommend getting 6mm+ offset, it'll help with stability in terms of crawling in my opinion, steering angle/radius is another problem as the offset gets larger.

To let you know 1.9 OEM Steelies are pretty thin and they pretty much only accept RC4wd tires. I run the steelies with 1.9 Dirt Grabbers on my scale truck.

Do note that they cannot accept Proline tires.

I did read that. I'm having second thoughts now after seeing S.D.I.'s wheels and tires.

RC4wd's scale stuff is nice. I'm sure you won't regret it. What SDI wheels/tires are you looking at? I thought they only made their Trail Doc's...

Oh HPI makes them they are the stock car rims. You can find them on Tower...but on a CR-01 Bronco I think the steelies definitely will look better. Any reason why you're changing to a 1.9?

I think it will look more true to scale.

The steelies are awesome wheels and at a great price! I have run several sets of the 1.9's and 2.2's with rc4wd tires and they are great. I tried Flat Irons and it was a no go, but they did work with several other 2.2 tires I had just not pro-line.

get some 2 inch pvc, and cut it to the width of the stock rings. they will fit the flat irons and more tires. the ring is to small to fit most tires besides some rc4wd. even then, i have a set of creepers that wont fit.

:wince: uhh, the oem steel wheels? if so you will have to use the pvc mod. the bead on the creepers does not seat corectly otherwise. and if it does its a pain to get close enough.
