Default Motor and speed control ideas please...

So I need some ideas for a new motor/speed control combo for my CR-01. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm running the LRP crawler3 with Axial AE2 speed control.
Very pleased with this combo!

Got a price point? No? Good. Brush or brushless? Waterproofing needed?

Holmes Hobbies BRXL waterproofed with either a cheap 35 turn or an expensive 35 turn on 3S lipo.

Brushless?

I am not wanting to go brushless with this truck and I did have the Novak Super Rooster/ 55 turn motor combo in it but something went wrong with it and now I want something different. It doesn't really need to be waterproof because I put my speed control and reciever in a waterproof box.

I'm running a Tekin FX-R with a their 55 turn brushed motor. This thing is awsome! I'm kind of a Tekin guy as I run their RX-8/ T-8 combos in my 1/8 scale buggies. Cant go wrong with the Tekin stuff

Tower hobbies has a pretty good deal on the Tekin FXR 45T or 55T right now. $15 off & free shipping. I just got the FXR w/ handwound 45T for $139 shipped.

all my crawlers have been Novak brushed 35-55T with Rooster Crawler. I'm looking forward to comparing the Tekin.
