Modification questions! Axial rockrails and shock length

To the RCC crew!

Just have a few questions regarding some mods that i would like to do to my CR01.

First what length of shocks are you guys running when you guys do the "de-canter" mod...are they aftermarket or stock shocks from another kit

Second, has anyone ever tried to mount axial rock rails to the side of the CR01 chassis? If so how did you guys do it?

Thanks in advance!
Twisted "thumbsup"

Can't help on the rails, but I run 4" shocks, though I made seperate standoffs on the axle and on the chassis to run them. Flat 2mm aluminum up top, and some aluminum L brackets drilled to fit on the servo bed on the bottom. They were too tall otherwise.

I run mine with the axial shocks bolted to the frame with no standoffish. It runs fine and still has a decent cg. The axial shocks are a good cheap way to go.http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...r/photo-69.jpg

+1 for stock SCX10 shocks directly to the frame.
