Yes, they don't turn well. I changed my knuckles to aluminum at someones recommendation and gained just a little more. Still not happy but I can't get anymore out of it.

I've trimmed down the steering blocks to get a little more throw, but they never did turn great - especially with locked axles. 4WS is always an option - just need another servo and a reversing Y harness. Rest of the parts are in the box.

I did rear stearing to mine right from the build. After doing this with locked diffs I can't imagine running it any other way.

I also hooked up the rear steering. Once you do that I promise you'll never want to go without it. The only downside to rear steer is that it sometimes steers the rear into an obstacle. Kind of like it fish tails the rig into an object.

If you have the coordination and/or patience, I suggest putting the front and rear servo's onto separate channels rather than wiring them up to the same. That way you can control the front and rear independently from each other.

Seperate channels is the way I did it, that eliminates your steering problem and let me tell ya being able to crab walk in certain situations has really helped me get over some obstacles.
