Thanks for the compliment.

I've recently switched to 3 cell lipos. I got them at Hobbytown USA. They are 1300 MAH 35C and sell for $19.99 each. So far no problems. I have been running three of them in three different rigs for about four months now.

I've used Venom and Speed Pack hard case 2 cell lipos between 4000-6000 mah in the past. I've found that the 3 cell lipos give me more power=wheel speed and about an hour worth of run time. I've really become weight conscious lately and those big batteries are heavy. Not to mention that there aren't too many places to put them on a rig. The CR-01 has a large battery compartment as you already know. Not so on the SCX10's.

Here you go.

This is my ziptied cants

Simple as that.

In any case, regardless of which way you make your suspension, move your upper rear links to the upper side of the rear attachment plate like this (I put some little spacers under it) to make them a little closer to parallel to the ground. Its a little better geometry for the links.

Ohh I see now thanks for the pics! Now I'm guessing u don't crank down on the zip tie correct? Jus a lil snug? And so the short barrel spring lower the height a lot? Nice lookin rig btw!

Thanks!

Yeah you pull the ziptie as tight as you can go so there is no movement between the two parts. And yes there is a pretty good height difference from the stock springs. Less tall and tippy with the short springs

Just the springs alone would make a noticeable difference in my opinion.

Those springs are just held in by 4 screws each (2 on each collar) so easy to replace. Just don't crank them in super hard or you'll strip out the plastic. The spring set from Tamiya is part #54085 if you're looking
