Default Easiest way to stretch wheelbase to 12"

I'd really like to get my wheelbase extended to 12" to fit some bodies I'm interested in. What is the easiest and cheapest way to do this?

Start with links, add longer driveshafts if necessary, then adjust upper spring mounts as needed. If you're running cantilevers, you'll probably need to adjust cantilever mounts and maybe canti links to get everything realigned and working.

The rear link positioning worked fine, with reasonable driveshaft extension remaining, but the front links relocated the same amount resulted in the shaft limiting. Where to find longer driveshafts?

Lots of options depending on your budget and aesthetic preference. You could do anything from Traxxas T-Maxx shafts (nylon and can be cut down to size) to Junfacs to RC4WD steel punishers to MIPS. The last three are available in a wide variety of lengths. Start by measuring the length from tranny output shaft to axle input shaft with shocks at ride height, then pick a driveshaft where that length falls in the middle of the shaft's travel range.

Traxxas Stampede and Jato and old Axial also if you want smaller diameter than T-Maxx

Axial Wild Boars work perfectly as well.
