Finally, finally, FINALLY!!! TWO YEARS after I bought the roller. There will be many pics to come (in the photo thread). I am happy to say that all the settings, even though I guessed at them, were just about pefect out of the box. A heartfelt thanks to all the folks on this CR-01 thread that answered questions and gave encouragement - it was pretty easy to get discouraged while this truck was sitting for months at a time and getting no work done to it. What finally got me to finish it? About two months ago my older son, who is technically the "owner" of my Honcho, asked me "Daddy, when are you going to finish your truck so we can go driving in the woods together?". THAT lit a fire under my butt let me tell you. More to come, but I just wanted to let you guys know since I haven't been on here in forever.... |
