CR-01 Diff lock I have recently bought a CR01 from ebay (unfortunately already assembled) i was wondering about the diff lock adjustment ... i can see the hole in the gearbox but how do you know what setting it is set at please ? im sure this will be the first of may question i have so please bear with me i have Tamiya buggys but never a CR01 before. |
Re: CR-01 Diff lock Congrats on the purchase! First off, if it did not come with directions, you can download them off Tamiya's site and review the axle diagrams on page 6: http://www.tamiya.com/english/rc/rcmanual/58405.pdf Very easy to tell if the diff is locked or not - if you turn a wheel and the wheel on the other side turns with it, they are locked. If it spins the opposite way, they are open. If they are unlocked and you want to lock them, they use a 2.5x10mm pin to lock the axles together - pretty standard size, Axial uses them everywhere. Should be able to pick one up no problem. Hope that helps! |
Re: CR-01 Diff lock Post photos! A few of us love these trucks! I have almost forgotten about mine. I need to fix it. |

I can see that photo when I click the link. I use Flickr and they have a BB Code (what forums use) option to post photos within the text. I see Imgur has an embed option. Click the three dots near the bottom of the photo. Copy that text and paste it here (do not try to "Go Advanced" or "Preview Post" because it won't work with Imgur's style of embed. You just have to hit Submit Reply or you'll get an error. Your image should be below...
CR01
|
