Hi, I am new to this forum and I am currently building a CR-01 (got the rocksocker kit). The thing is I really want a Jeep body and I am interested in an Axial body, especially this one : https://rcworld.us/xial-rc-scale-tru...ody-roll-bars/ Anyone have experience on fitting an Axial hard body on the CR-01 chassis ? PS: I know there is the Tamiya Jeep YJ body option but I would prefer the Axial body. Thanks! |

Axial doesn't make hard bodies. That name is Xial which is some no-name Chinese reseller I'm sure. The CR-01 has a short wheelbase so this body probably isn't a drop on. Also, you're probably going to have to stiffen the suspension. |

With the full interior, it's going to sit way high on the chassis. You almost have to lose the interior to get it to fit down low enough. Proline's 2009 jeep body fits very well as long as you don't mind a lexan body. Their 2d interiors would most likely fit in there though I've never tried per-se. ![]() |
