I am debating on gutting the stock electronics and replacing with all new and a 6ch radio setup. Have to do some research. Parts are hard to come by so, leaving it stock is an option too.

Guess I’ll make a trailer.
Axle is two Ax10 back end halves with spider diff gears and straight shafts.
Rigid suspension, trailer will pivot at hitch.

Leave it stock and hang on to it. Buy the new one to hot rod.

Another option on the blizzard is to remove the stock drive train/ transmissions and install Dlux Fab or Berg gear boxes on each side. I have seen someone do something similar before on Scale 4x4 Forum. Then the blizzard gets gear reduction and strength to handle brushless. The hop up metal tracks improve the blizzard stability.

The HET carting the Kyosho Blizzard around.

Thanks. I debated on making suspension for the trailer but got lazy. I was just thinking about running the tires with no foams. Or cutting the trailer up and doing some sort of suspension, maybe not.

I'll probably will just tear it down and clean. Only bummer is the remote does not have channels for the plow to work. May look into buying a cheap 6 channel stick radio. They make decent ones these days for low cost.

Blizzard looks good on the truck! Good options above. Probably going to keep it stock, the old school parts are functional and look cool.
Have you seen this madness?
https://spykerworkshop.com/

Cut up and welded some old JunFac driveshaft parts for the pivoting hitch setup for this trailer. Male side will be welded to the trailer tongue.

Darn it! I did not need to know of such a toy! That would be a lot of fun!

Some cool stuff for sure. The dollar amount in the shopping cart on that site goes up pretty quick!

Trailer panel work, mounted front storage boxes (axial what-have-you’s) and mounted some scale Rotopax storage thing. Set screws hold it on. Made a flag out styrene and a sticker.

Did not want to build suspension on the trailer, so I made a weirdo hitch setup from an old carrier bearing thing Ive had for like ten years and some driveshaft parts. Flexes in all directions.

I bet that's more scale than you think. I've seen rotating pintle hitches on a couple of my dad's old snow cats but they are loud and clunky when the loop rattles around.

Thanks. Me too. I only get a few hours a week here and there to work on it, so progress is slow but getting there.

Those rear styrene panel fenders took me like 5 wasted tries before I got close to fitting the metal fender shape. Still not perfect but time to move on.

About to go raid Office Depot for some mesh for the gates. (metal desk organizer stuff)

I can’t stop working on this trailer.

More updates. Starting with a $9 desk organizer.
