Guess I’ll make a trailer. Axle is two Ax10 back end halves with spider diff gears and straight shafts. Rigid suspension, trailer will pivot at hitch. Last edited by Szczerba; 02-02-2020 at 10:43 PM. |

Another option on the blizzard is to remove the stock drive train/ transmissions and install Dlux Fab or Berg gear boxes on each side. I have seen someone do something similar before on Scale 4x4 Forum. Then the blizzard gets gear reduction and strength to handle brushless. The hop up metal tracks improve the blizzard stability. The HET carting the Kyosho Blizzard around. |

| Szczerba’s CR-01 Build (#62) Arctic Truck Thanks. I debated on making suspension for the trailer but got lazy. I was just thinking about running the tires with no foams. Or cutting the trailer up and doing some sort of suspension, maybe not. Quote:

Have you seen this madness? https://spykerworkshop.com/ Cut up and welded some old JunFac driveshaft parts for the pivoting hitch setup for this trailer. Male side will be welded to the trailer tongue. Last edited by Szczerba; 02-03-2020 at 11:14 AM.

Some cool stuff for sure. The dollar amount in the shopping cart on that site goes up pretty quick! Trailer panel work, mounted front storage boxes (axial what-have-you’s) and mounted some scale Rotopax storage thing. Set screws hold it on. Made a flag out styrene and a sticker.

Did not want to build suspension on the trailer, so I made a weirdo hitch setup from an old carrier bearing thing Ive had for like ten years and some driveshaft parts. Flexes in all directions. |

I bet that's more scale than you think. I've seen rotating pintle hitches on a couple of my dad's old snow cats but they are loud and clunky when the loop rattles around.

Nice idea - I thought it was a PTO for 6WD at first... |

Those rear styrene panel fenders took me like 5 wasted tries before I got close to fitting the metal fender shape. Still not perfect but time to move on. About to go raid Office Depot for some mesh for the gates. (metal desk organizer stuff)
