front diff as it stands: rear diff as it stands: its funny how with masher 2ks the diffs get more clearance then the belly of the stock tlt. |

Look'n good Brandon. Now get it all finished so We can get in some crawlin. Curious to see how it stands up to my Little Beast. We sell the mounts for $8.00 ea. (setup for a standard size servo) The only thing I do differently is I use a ball end off the aluminum for the links to mount to.

yup. i hear ya. that was the exact position. i was lucky enough to find the same style with the same offset that actually used a hex. let alone the same finish.

| more progress
a huge step in the build process is now finished thanks to jeff at custom crawlerz. after some time spent in his garage we got the links figured out. i have shafts and yokes on order from the lhs and shocks coming from integy through jeff. should have this mf'er runnin pretty soon. on to the pics. top shot: little body makes this thing look way bigger than it is: flex shots (no shocks so not a really good example): body off: body on: i am still needing to find a place for the electronics and battery. the battery was supposed to run on the front upper links but that aint lookin like the best option at this point. if any of you guys have any suggestions as to how i should place all the stuff on here im open to hear them. although stuff that gets to drastic (ie. putting batt. cells in fifteen different places all over the truck) might be ignored. thanks much fuzzhead. Lookin good man.As for battery placement I ran my cbp kan 1050 stick pack on the front links it's small yet has plenty of punch and runtime and is out of the way.

| First - Are you running a reverse rotation motor? No, then you have the chassis backwards. Motor endbell faces forward... easily confused to those who are new to the RCRG Bulu Madness. Second - What is your wheelbase? How long are your front links(lowers) and how long are your rear links(lower)?? Third - Place your lower links to the middle of the axle housings, not on top. So, for the front housing they'd be placed to the backside of the housing(inside towards chassis).... Then for the rear, they'd be on the forward side of the housing in the center. This is not a really needed thing but everyone here that helped develop and test the Bulu chassis, run our lower links in the center spots. Fourth(last) - For battery placement... time to learn how to build battery packs or buy custom built packs from cheapbatterypacks.com I run a chopped up 6 cell sub-c pack. 4 cells on upper front links and 2 cells up on top of the servo. I don't have funky upper link mounts on top of my servo so it's easy to strap the two cells up there (soon, soon the RCRG Bulu Chassis servo/link mounts will be ready). Many diehard Bulu users around here run the small packs(like I've mentioned to you in a PM when you asked), not sub-c size cells. Keep building. |

well the reversed thingy is easily fixed. as far as link mounting goes i see nothing wrong with what i have going. and the links are built for these mounts so they are staying...for now. the battery problem is very possibly solved. need to email mike a cbp to ask a few questions and i should be set in that department. as for wheelbase. i meant it to be thirteen inches. but with magic eyeballing skillz it ended up just under 12.5. the rears i think 5 1/8 and the fronts 4? jeff has the measurements written down. |

12.5"? That's it? It looks like it's 14". Perhaps it's just because of the small body mounted on it. Oh yeah... a 30 minute soaking of Simple Green on those chrome wheels will make them white to match your fronts
