a question actually I went with the axial tranny and was wondering a good spur gear and pinion gear combo for that setup?

well im either making a new skid plate or trying to make my 3 piece side a 1 piece side lol and my links should be here very soon .they have been very helpful over at xtreme r/c hobbies, the are great people there,im thinking about pulling my diffs out and installing spools any comments on that?plus im going to go with a 65 turn .....but the spur i picked up clicks on the traxxas slider that is attached to the steel yoke on the axial tranny so i have to get a smaller one lol.......oh well right

I'd mix some JB in the diffs. The stock diffs hold up decently enough. Stay away from the rc4wd locker I've heard nothing but bad news about it. The rcp Locker is a good option. Lee snapped the input shaft off his set but RCP relaced it no questions asked. Looks as though they may have resolved that issue though by now.

Whats wrong with the skid you have?

im not so sure the holes were drilled straight when i put the chassis together the 1 piece side leans towards the other i need new skid or i need to find a 1 piece side for the other side or lol attach the tops to the bottom on the 3 piece side plus the skid is to long the pede sliders will most definitely hit the skid on there way to the axles

I would go with the rcp r&p they are about 2.5oz over stock and the ring gear is alot stronger then stock..yeah I did brake a pinion but that was the old ones and I had a cvd pin hang upon me..also I was running a very strong brushless motor the new pinions are steel I have been running the rcp gears for about 6 mouths now still working geart..nice build so far keep it up..I would run a 10+cell pack or a 3s lipo on the 65t or its going to be slow or look into on of the hardline motors or a puller
