Why not run CVDs? From what I've heard those XVDs are junk.

| Franky-please don't tell my wife I was there. Diesel - I've read and heard the same, but I have them and think these will hold up.. If they don't you'll know it. Stormin2u - Thanks. I've considered it but with the TLT's not used as often I'll have to figure up the correct set up for AX-10 that can also be used on TLT's. These were custom out of 14 gage steel, bent and then rebent to fit right, they actually too the longes out of everything on the rig since my brake can't make "s" type bends had to do the second bend by hand with a vice. more pics to come. |

I do think that is theeee first complement I've ever received from you. oh Thanks Likes2crawl - thanks Well I need to get better pics for my website so I made a photobox for better pics. But there is only so much you can do with out a good camera (still get some fuzzy pics). but it's helped the pics some. I'm waiting on my "super top secret" Foams to come in and another set of tires... So I figured I'd test out my 10 minute $0 photobox .. | |

Wellp. I received my sidewinder & BEC from HOLMES HOBBIES this weekend. Thanks for the quick ship JohnRobHolmes. Spent 20 minutes looking for my castle link after get some other builds just about done. Might take a little "me time" to get this rolling with a TP servo and 65t late with 14t pinion while I wait for a motor to try out, Crazy crawler tires and punisher shafts from RC4WD. Time to start getting excited.. |

I like the half and half desing, I'm surious as to how it will perform. I would think it will do pretty good though. Also, can get some info on what you used for the photobox? Thanks. |

Thanks I'm hoping to have it running this weekend just wainting a some parts and a little time to spend on it. I'm swamped with other customers stuff that I'm trying to get out the door. Maybe by Sunday I'll take a short vid. About the photobox.. I just added a little write up on how to do it in the tools and procedures section. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...=1#post1064365 |

Well I received most my parts in. So between 2:30 am and 3:30 am on Sunday morning after working on other builds. Installed the Teflon pieces from Rocksmith engineering. I installed the RC4WD punisher shafts and straight axle adapters. started to modify the disengage rod on the R2d so I could try an idea that would work with the large punisher shafts and ended up braking it. so now I now have the r2d replacement parts on their way.. for anyone that hasn't seen a Punisher shaft they are huge compaired to the pede yokes I'm use to. *note: do not try to make small exact holes on a small rod at 3am, being a wake 22 hours.* Not sure if I took pics, but if I did I'll update it. LOL. |

ON the LHS list: 50, 60, 70 weight oils. some new body posts. a couple other things I can't think of. Hoping to have my aluminum torsion blocks from my machinest today as well as some test chassis and new skids for da bull.. Hoping to have alot of the tweek/tune done by the end of next week.. just in time for it's 1st comp debue. I have some pics I took on Wed that I was able to down load before my home internet went down, hoping to have the connection back on Sat so I can upload more pics as well as customers pics.
