Locked IFS with 4 shocks we've done before.

Now the crazy chassis and driveline, Kudos!

Get some action pics of this thing.
OK fine, but "New take on crawler chassis and base vehicle used, for a 12" WB RC" probably wouldn't have fit into the title box.

I just wanted to make sure that the title would grab everyone's attn., as I believe Mitch's truck deserves. Next time, I'll just use the title "Naked chicks and free beer!"

I'm tellin' ya...I was tired when I first looked at this thread.

I kept looking at the suspension going "What am I missing?"

The choice of drive/suspension assemblies is unique, as is the driveline.

I seriously spent a few moments wondering if I had gone nuts.

But naked chicks and free beer will work just as well.

Default What the F--- !!!!

AMAZING!!!! When Mitch first showed me " The Machine" at the shop , chassis and axles only, I coundn't believe my eyes!! He began to explain how he did it and there were so many new things on it my head almost exploded.

I did get to see Mitch test drive it on some new rocks we found on Usery Pass. VERY NICE, as Rich said no motor hang-ups. It had the axle and chassis clearances of my TXT on a 2.2 truck. As for the gearing things, it's a minor problem, Mitch will fix it.

NICE JOB, I've got a RS4 Pro we can crawl-up.

Sweet idea!

you may want to lower the forward driveshaft slider shaft to reduce that extreme angle... at such an extreme angle, it will only get steeper upon severe articulation... the steeper angle a Ujoint sees, the less consistent the rotation is.. its hard to explain, but when a ujoint hits a steep angle the output shaft's speed will oscillate, this is why cars don't use them for the front wheels, the angle is too extreme and the speed increased and decreases for each revolution. (True) CVD's don't do this, Constant Velocity is the name of the game, and they will not oscillate at extreme angles like U joints do. The MIP CVD's are not true CVD's, they are only modified Ujoints...
