yes that was it less binding also it made the lower links more straight and not as clocse of an angle as the upper links...

N e ways MY MAXX shocks came today YEAH now its almost there... need a little softer spring i have black on it now thinkin of red?

I also mounted the battery lower and forward more... PICS TO COME!!!! I think you guys will like how i mounted it...

Default More Pics Of My Crawler!!!

Hey i got my shocks YEAH!!!... need a little softer spring but its alot better than b 4. I also changed the batter around and steering links a stronger!!!

I kno the body is a stocker and out of scale but i have no money LOL at least it preforms good!!

Battery hinge setup (low and in front is the way to go!!)

mmm i got softer springs and changed the rear lock out links so she dont wander about. more pics to come of my rock pile in my front yard!

DO you kno how freakin hard it is to film and drive an rc car with only 2 hands... the video is being made now just waiting for a batter to be charged so i can get the last part of it!

If you mount to the outside of the bracket, you should place a 1/4" spacer inside the bracket and run a screw the entire length for more strength.

Nope just now I saw it. When I replied, I didn't realize there was a second page

Anyway, pretty impressive. Might wanna reduce the articulation some for more stability. The fact you could climb that mini wall says alot though. I'm working on a stubby TLT at the moment using a wheelbase similar to yours. But other than that, its completely different than any other TLT here

i get like 80* of artic. i dont really think i need more stabliity it was just hard holding the cam in one hand while finessing the throtle and steerting with one hand...

yes and i really like it short i wouldnt have it n e other way...

AHHH i moved da links around and its sooo much better!!!!
All the links pivot on the same line...


Got the rear drive shaft u joint lined up strait with the rest of the shaft... YES more of a constant spinning and torque to the rear end...also it got the drive shaft out of the way of the ground...



3 1/4 in of gc...


Notice the different drive shaft angles...

my truck is almost like yours.....stock chassis,pede tranny,stretched,ect.....

I absolutly LOVE this setup... i dont get the chassis tweak n e more do to how the rear axle rotates the opposite way that torque wants it to go... also the movement of the axles during articulation is a lot better.
