Yeah I figured modding would be required! I'm more interested in the fit on the axles. I have tried the plastic stampede yokes and the maxx yokes and both fit tight but wobble when I spin the axle fast. I would like it to turn true if possible. Anyone else have this wobbling? I don't want a bad vibration! You say you made a flat spot on the pinion?? Mine already has a flat spot and on the opposite side it is round, did you make it so it has two flats?? Thanx alot Mike |

I havent had wobble with my pede bits on the TLT axles. I just whiddled out the flat spot on the yoke. so it was a D shape to match the pinion. I later went to the metal yokes due to twisting one of those nylon bits in half. Did you shave the ridge off on the yokes?? Cut off the left bit with a exacto This should stop the wobble. if you havent shaved off that bit you wont get the yoke fully seated and when you use those set screws itll acualy push the yoke off true and itll wobble. Oh yeah to strengthen the nylon boil it for a few min, itll harden the nylon. I didnt boil mine in the rush to play. ;p Omk the ascii failed um heh Ill go take a pic then -_- Last edited by Madkoifish; 09-08-2005 at 12:16 AM. I've got lots of wobbling on mine, but who cares - its a crawler. Let them wobble and vibrate all they want, as long as it transfers power to the wheels, it doesn't matter.

i used maxx yokes and shafts, i drilled through the tlt axlee pinion, and the transmission out puts, The i used the long screw that came with the yokes, and screwed them all the way through. Mine have little to no wobble, and they should never twist off, because they have a pin all the way through it. |

I'm suprised more people don't run their trucks leaning forward like that. I've been doing it a while and love the results.
