Sence I dont know what it will take to lockout my rear steer, I'm thinking about using crazy glue and glueing the servo gears in a VERY old airtronics that doesnt work ne more.... would this work??

The steering servo is in the middle of the chassis. When the truck was all done, you can't see any of the electronics.

God I love driving this little truck

No photo shop, don't know how to use it.

As far as bumb steer, there is none. All the links (top, bottom, and steering) are the same length. Slop in the links, when the get bad I guess I will replace them.

thats sweet no bumb steer... i guess i was thinking of how my 1:1 jeep is set up... with the steering link parallel with the axle.... my jeep is a 1979 CJ-5... its sooo god damn short any little bump steer sends it from one side of a lane to another...

No Photo... Looking for the easiest(Cheapest first) way to lockout the Rear Steer...

I cant go to a LHS cuz its 7 miles away and my mom nor Dad will stretch out to help me, unless there is another reason to....

those rods come with the tlt. What i did was just use the stock steering rods but instead of connecting it to a servo i just connected it to the side of the axle by using a longer screw (one that came with the tlt) to hold the two axle halves together. its free and strong and light.

Just take a long screw and screw it into one lnk end, cut the head off the screw witha hack say to grinder and screw the link end onto the other end.....Wall-la

Since that picture was taken I now have actually moved the rear steer lockouts infront of the rear axle for even more clearance.

Belts???
oh BOLTS heh ace hardware or something will get you longer hardware. I think the canti stuff is long enough to extend that area but personally I dislike no n hex drive parts so i replaced those with Stainless hardware with a hex head.

I just extended one of the axle casing bolts and screwed the link on. no mods required, just adjusting the shorter link
