Nope, I don't have the hook up , I just ordered them before they went out of stock. I've been waiting for the hex adapters (12mm to 14mm) to come back in stock, but got tired of waiting so I made my own .

Your truck is looking good, but definately needs a bit more width. Keep us updated on it's progress

Well to ever good story there is a surprize.....................

I can't make up my mind on the color for the jeep so this is cool.
It's the old body off the junk yard crawler. :P I drove those lines and have fisrt flop pic.

Here are some referance pics(poser ) Thats a 3/4" (.75) peice of
aluminum on a masher. I do have to make it wider like wookie said if I can't come up with sway bars that work.

and yes it was sort of a lil bitch to build. :P

The cool part is with the links like they are, the thing doen't even move under accel or reverse. The springs are about .3125 short. It rides in the shock that much and when it has to it unloads the anti squat and lifts a little over climbs.
The rear steer I dialed in is just right. You don't even notice when driving untill you need it and it helps in cornering. I haven't got the rear steer programed yet and this thing turns sharp in front steering ownly!!!

The only issues so far are either sway bars and/or widening. I shure hope I can do it with sway bars. The look and the way it handles is so 1:1!!! It looks like a FJ on 49's rollin 20's. :P
I am just amazed how these things can go with these TLT's.

Thanks for all on this site who posted good info I used on building this.
It was the funnest RC I ever put together or get to drive.

Stay tuned for the TLB build.

There, thats better. I need this actually, I ran it a few more untill dark
I had to up the crawl ratio to 113:1, it works great. I might replace the main drive pinion to 13 from 12 I have now.
I like the 5:1 the best on the reduction boxes.

I had to put the fatty's back on untill I recieve wideners.

Thanks, I will see how it works with the wideners and the narrow tires,
because they work good, better than stock mashers.

Thanks guys
I took it out today and it definitly needs to be wider. The fat tires help so I know that is an issue. Since the jeep body is a little wider and alot lighter than the FJ body, I think with some wideners and a lighter wider body I might be able to keep a scale look and get the stability needed.
I am working on a new tread pattern tonight on some standerd size tires, going on some cool hpi black rims.

Wider is better, refer to "tire and wheel" section for how to on the rims. 11.125 wide now.

I love it! Im trying to trade my RS4 for a TLT roller to start on a small crawler project. Dye those rims black, and add a ring around the outer edge of the wheel. How do those reworked tires work?

I just tryed the tires out and OMG!!!! They work GREAT! Better than reversed Mashers, I did run full size foams because the rims are so wide.
The thing in a slow crawl trying to grab traction will start winding up and releasing in the drive train just like a 1:1!! In a burn they just grab after some wheel spin and pull it self over.

Did you use a lathe to turn down the gd 600 main gear shaft? What size does it need to be for standard pinion gears?

Thanks
