Thanks for the compliments guys.

I probably will end up making new steering links out of solid aluminum and lower suspension links out of delrin. The tranny is only held in place right now with two 6-32 screws going into the pivot points for the suspension arms. I plan on adding a couple flathead screws through the delrin chassis skid into the bottom of the tranny, for additional support.

Thanks Harris, I actually dig the way the Geolanders look. They tuck perfectly into the bodys fenders. I'm going to have to do some serious hacking of the fenders with the Mashers, Moabs are in the future plans too.

Daynm

I thought that was wheelbase. 10inches is upper length, bottom is about 4? whats your height and wheelbase....

See, now you've got me curious...

EDIT_
I'm a bloody retard. 10 inches long, about 4 inches high, and a 12.5inch wheelbase. So all I need is lower parallel length.

I've been editing stats into the first post, so there's stats in the first post that weren't always there.

The very bottom of the chassis is 3 3/4" wide, is that the dimension you need?

This pic looks PIMP with the m2ks

Thats one of those bodies you see at the LHS and think its one ugly redneck looking MoFo of a body....then someone has the guts to buy it and turns out one "sick" Scale TLT Crawler....Im sure a few members will bust out rigs with that same body now...who knew it could look so good. Stck with the M2Ks..Moabs midget looking tires will look like **** on your rig

BTW,Awsome paint job...did it yourself?

Thanks SuperSancho.

I liked how big the wheelwells in the body are, perfect for 2.2 tires IMO. I like the winch in the front, but I'm eventually going to put a 645mg servo, converted to winch, in the front.

I did do the paint job myself, only paint mask used was on the windows. I just lay a design out on top of the clear film that protects against overspray with a black marker. When I'm happy with it I freehand paint the body tracing my outline thats in marker. Then hand paint the flames, the truck box and the winch. Then spray the final color over all of that.

Default Update........

Well, I've got a little more done on the Wagon. I got the axle pinions drilled, got the 2.5 yokes milled, got body mounts on (for the beater body), the shocks have been rebuilt, working on the delrin skid now.

I can do a write-up on how to make them fit, it'll be a couple days though, my camera is in Vegas right now. They hardest part about making the 2.5 shafts work is grinding the end of the yoke that slides on the axles and tranny's shafts. I had to cut them back right up to the edge of the hole for the screwpin that holds the yoke on. I had to shave a little material off the tranny housing too. It's a very tight fit, but will be worth it as far as durability goes. Also I drilled a hole for the screwpin in the TLT axles pinion shafts, the material is nice and soft so it was pretty easy. Just make sure you drill the hole nice and straight, otherwise the pin won't pass through the backside of the yoke.

Once the camera is back in my hands I'll snap some pics of the install, as well as a couple flex shots that were requested earlier.

I already drilled holes in the axle pinions and there are holes in my pede tranny so there is nothing to worry about there. it was actually rather easy. i just made a jig out of wood that when screwed closed, it will hold the axle pinion perfectly straight and it wont move at all.
