Good idea.

One thing I forgot to mention is the halfmoon shape of the TLT axles pinion shaft. In order to get the Maxx yoke to slide on that I plunge milled the "flat" out of one side of the yoke. I'm sure with a Dremel and a small stone/cutter you could do the same mod quite easily.

Oh yeah, it'll be there!! It probably will be the first action it sees, I'm scrambling to tie up the loose ends on it.

mudrinner4ever Delrin is a type of hard plastic, it's actually called black acetal, Delrin is a brand name. It's great for making skid plates, it just glides over the rocks unlike aluminum that likes to snag on the rocks.

Those are only for paying customers!!

The lathe has been tied up lately, I'll see if I can get a set made for you before the weekend though.

Thanks for the compliments Don.

What rig do you need the lockouts for? Sparky J is running Clod axles on his 2.2 rig. I've got a design for those and the TXT's. I'm still working on a version for the TLT, because of the funky a$$ shape of the TLT knuckles, it's going to be a little tougher to make. I've got an idea that will solve that though. I will let you guys know when I get a prototype set made. I've been busy as hell lately, so I'm slacking on them.

Thanks Kevin, I do have to admit it's been a fun build and I have a feeling they're going to be just as fun to drive.

Been looking into getting a TLT, but when i browsing on ebay i came across the Midnight pumkin... wonder if you could make that into a crawler? haven't seen one yet. that would be something different.

The Midnight Pumpkin is only rear wheel drive, if you got 2 of them you could probably make a Clod type crawler. I'm not sure how available the parts are for them though.

I got the electronics installed finally, took a little test run in the living room with a dead battery and no steering. . It seems like it's going to work great, I didn't notice any torque twist at all!! All I've got left to do is glue the tires, replace the stripped gears in my 645mg and finish mounting the Power Wagon body, then it's ON!!
