Tanis,

Not to thread hijack...but how did you get your spur gear on the opposite side of the cross brace of the back cab?

I have a buddy who I am helping with a Bastard build and he has a Novak Goat and is running the tranny flipped like that and has an axial slipper, but his spur hits that vertical/slanted cross brace on the back. Trying to figure out how to get around it?

I'm not sure that the spur will clear everything with a slipper clutch installed, but I can check that on my rig tonight.

I am using a CDW double triangulated skidplate(no slipper), and when I drilled it I moved the tranny back a little. With the stock skidplate, it was dead center on the crossbar, which I could have made work(I bent it up a smidge by hand) but I wanted the triangulated lowers anyway.

Sorry to impose on your thread Jake, but it's tech I guess, not just rambling

And you are right, I love it already just from driving it at lunch today

No problem, that's a nice looking rig I may have to try the CDW skid on mine.

below, to keep the shocks compressed and the rig stuck to the ground.
