http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCAN0&P=7 It looks like you use stock TLT-1 stub axles without a widener of any type (no Blackfoot axle either) and stock width wheels. What is your overall width? Last edited by Natedog; 01-17-2006 at 04:09 PM. | |

Randy, I must say that your rig is looking great. It appears as if you lowered it too which will help a lot on those climbs. Where are you going to mount the battery? -Sam |

I am back at this rig I have had it for a long time. I have never been happy with the setup how it handled on the trail. I love the way my RBX II works so I decided to set up the geomerty the same on the tuber. I built and new motor and link plate for the bottom of the rig. It still needs a little tweaking but comming along. With changing the links the shock placement needs to be changed now. I also feel that a little more time has passes and I have learned more about setting up a rig. Hope I get it right this time. |

I broke the "C"s at Hobby Town Rock Crawl this friday and Thought it was time I installed a set of Aluminum C on the axles. Then I really have wanted a truss and Pan hard bar on the buggy so I started to build one. this is the part I build this evening Others have done it but still I am proud of what I did. I am going to install the servo in the chassis. I felt like I was taking the plung when I started to cut off the stock servo mounts. Truss installed. Next tis test fit on the rig. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Axel installed in the rig I am running full droop. it fit better than I expected. Well I have better caster and the links are much more parallel. One of the things I would like to do to the rear of this rig is to pinch it a little along with getting the servo off the axel (which I have done). I would also like to boat side the bottom a little more too. Well I do not want to cut in to my boat work time too much so I will do a little at a time. Oh also this will turn in to a three link with a Panard Bar. Last edited by RandyatBBY; 03-06-2011 at 01:34 AM. |

I remember this rig. Ah the days of ol when scalers were all 2.2's. Killer work on the front truss love how you added some extra support with the bolt going to the front of the housing. Great work Randy, one of these days we'll have to crawl again.

Wow 3 more sets than me. Though all but one set is on a built rig though I favor 1 rig over the rest usually. Keep up the good work Randy.
