Nice job! Looks like you cut the swamps and used the tread for the sidewalls? how did you glue them or attach it so that it will still flex ect?

Yes I did cut out some of the lugs and glue with rubberized CA works great but I think the 2.2 Maobs are much better But I like the look of these tires and the rig is a scale and not a full out comp rig.

In pictures and in person, the rig is pretty sweet. As Randy said, it isn't quite a competition rig, but it is definitely fun to watch. It's fun to trail ride with because it has that realism that many others don't. All that is needed now is a winch.

See you at the next trail ride Randy. I need to get a winch going on my rig as well so I can keep rolling down the steep trails.

You know I was trying to make the paint look like it was sand blasted in the desert , Did I get that ?

i thought it looked more like it had acne but i can see the "sandblastedness" in it now.

I have been working on my tuber this winter and have done some changes to make a better trail rig. sence we run on some rough stuff. I have changed the body to lower the CG I also installed padding on the roll cage and am working on a front bumper/winch. pluss much more.

Default "sandblasted/weatherbeaten look"

To get the sandblasted look you might be able to use some Krylon Matte Finish. I've never tried it on lexan though, might want to test on a scrap first.

That body is not beeing used. It is in storage did not want to cut it up and used the same type from my EMaxx build that I parted out. But to get a better sand blast look I think I could put it in the sand blaster and make a real matte finish.:-)

I will show the winch tomorrow after paint. I installed the winch line to night it is a Black nylon cord that is 3/32 thick . Now all I have to do is make a hook.
