If you are looking for a comp worthy rig, you will have to ditch the stock tranny, cantilever set up(seems like you did the shock bit already) and chassis.
Here are a couple of links to my first tlt build annd it's evolution.

Some info on my DaBull comp chassis also

I was not pushing the chassis on you, i was merely showing you one of many possibilities, if you looked through my progression with the tlt's, i went from stock to mildly modified to comp, i also have a 1.9 tlt scaler, a 2.2 tlt scaler, as for chassis, if you did your homework and looked around you will find that Bender's sw2-3 and swx chassis have been very popular with the tlt crowd as the one from insanerc to name some from the various possibilities, ax-10 tranny is a great idea, they are built tough, i have only managed to strip one idler gear on one of my ax-10 , and i abuse those a lot

do you think the way it is it can compete with a ax10... i did not get it yet.. but it does have a for link set up with 55 turn motor... the sw2 looks like the stock chassis.... does the stock chassis do good??? im not looking to do comps or anything like that i just want it to be able to..

I only replied to your first post, which said you wanted to make a comp 2.2 out of this tlt, as for being able to hang with a stock ax-10 against what you have right know, nope, the tranny will slip first, the cog is to high on a stock chassis, as for the sw2, it was light years ahead of the stock one, and was built to accomodate the stampede tranny back in the day before the ax-10, but it still is a very capable chassis today, but you should look around for a chassis which is designed an axial tranny since that is what you have

If you look through this section you will find a boat load of chassis to choose from. I started with a SW2 then moved on to the SW3 proto type chassis both were good chassis. I really liked my last two chassis: BlackJack chassis and the one I'm using now the CDW 1.0. Just look and find one you think will fit your needs, if your not competing with it there is no reason to spend a lot of money on a chassis.

Depending on your rig's weight, you can go with the losi whites and if you have a heavier rig maybe go with yellows, but also remember to use a thicker weight oil and a harder spring on the rear driver side shock position to help counter torque twist( depending which way you have your motor/tranny facing), looks great BTW
