Twisted - My old TLT

Well this was my first TLT, I bought it in 04, so it's seen plenty of miles, it some how ended up going from trail rig to comp rig last season even though I have newer TLT's. I had planned on replacing it with an Axial, but than I waited on the ARTR kit and now I'm waiting to see the losi.

So I decided I'd rebuild the TLT to keep it going until I get a new comp rig.

I went with a TVP Bodiless design, this is the second proto-type and has done well, I need to make a few changes but nothing critical, I'llwait until I can test it at our next comp before I make any changes.

At the last comp my lipos hadn't arrived in time, so I had to use a EVX and 2 mini-t packs. I faired well but the lack of brakes and the constant glitches from the old batt packs were killing me.

Anyways my lipos came in the day after the comps so I got it all wired up and started testing in the backyard.

Thanks, all in all I'm real happy with it, I need to shorten the nose to get axle clearnance and I may recut it to add more adjustments in the rear shocks, but so far I like it and I have a comp the 8th so I'll give it a good testing since my backyard course is in pieces at the moment. I may cut the final one in 1/8th Aluminum but I need to compare the weight to the lexan, it's nice to have a really light weight chassis, but an aluminum with a slight brushed finish would look great.
