nice to finaly have it done i just double sided taped the dig servo onto the front of the gear protector on the tranny.lets see how long that will hold up.
anyways took it for a run in my backyard here is the pics and vids
it runs very well i love it.only thing is the xtra servo draws to much power from the mini t lipo that it cuts off sometimes.

also had a little misshap with the plastic hexes both the rears got pulvarised as well as the fronts.need to bet some alum or steel ones.

they just spilled out like sand

axial hexes are in order you'll need a standard full size or something like a 645 anyway for the dig. besides needing to upgrade some standard parts it looks like a great performer..sweet job

right now, just the axial hexes, but save up for some aluminum knuckles cause you might break them soon or just order them now. it really came out nice, how does the sprung shocks work out for ya? most people iv seen are running droop on this chassis.

just ordered some axial hexes and some mounts to make a custom dig servo mount.
also i decided after looking at bribeguy's thread that i like the look of black rims better so i took out a can of black paint and painted them so this is what it looks like now.

just a mock up not mounted becouse i dont have hexes yet ..just wanted to see how it looks and i like it wayyy better

yep you'll be much happier with the new hexes. the black also makes it stand out with the silver chassis. awesome turn out

Sweet build Just a quick question, how are you getting so much articulation? I only get about 2-3 inches... using the maxx shocks right now, tried longer shocks but way too top heavy... would appreciate a heads up. :-P Also heard that these DMGs work best as a belly scraper... so shorter shocks, straight links etc... would love to hear your thoughts.

i dont know much about suspension geometry i just put mine together the way i thought it would work best.i think your problem with getting that little articulation is becouse maybe you had the short maxx shocks.and i strongly suggest using bent links becouse even though you think it will sit lower with strait links it will be the same as the bent links if you set it up right.just play and tinker with the setups and you will get it right.
