I doubt it's 70 %. I just kept cutting whatever the tires hit. I wouldn't have cut so much but the rear tires would grab the body and get bound up on it. So a hackin I went. It's an RBX chassis. I'll get my Rockstar chassis done next once I make a few more mods. I'll have two kick *** crawlers. Then I plan on making a trail rig. Something with a fairly short wheelbase to use all my bodies. It seems like a waste to have a cool FJ, the General Jeep, and a Camo clod body. Quote:

Well I took it out and finally played on some real rocks yesterday. It gets hung up a bit on the center skid. Maybe I'll make my own that ramps up like all my other ones I've made. The edges of the skid just get hooked on things. I need to do something about that.

You could try a rounded edge router bit for a dremel around the edges to get a smooth edge if it doesn't chip or anything.

Looks good! You should run a 60/40 or 70/30 forward chassis bias for even slicker performance! Nice work.

nice. i got my rbx the other day, now i'm just waiting on tower to send me a bunch of goodies so i can at least get it going as a roller until they get the tekin rebel 2 back in stock. ever consider using the associated chassis protector stick-on sheet for a skid? thats what i think i'll use on my rbx. |
