Default working winch

Hey guys, i like to make a working winch for my new Courier i know its done using a servo, but i dont know how to modify the servo to do this, or what you guys are using for a spool to allow the cable to wind in or out, also what kind of cable are you using?

also i would like to get a scale looking hook, i went on wedicos web site which is the scale big rigs and they have some real cool looking hooks and chains but i dont know if these will be enough to hold up to really winching the truck.

the other thing is i know someone makes a scale roller fair lead? anyone know who ? or is it something simple enough to be done on my own?

any info or directions to another post will be appreciated.

thanx guys

-Mike
