I see what you mean by the weight thing. The 6.0 oz. that I quoted was with all the packaging too.

The chassis plates are made out of 1/8 inch aluminum and the other plates are made out of 1/4 inch delrin.

That's definately an interesting setup. Looks good and I can't wait for the finished product in a few more months . What upper links did you use?

Yeah, it is going to change. I didn't intend for the links to be bent that much and they bind on the shocks a little bit. The upper links are traxxas ones I got off a stock e-maxx chassis I had lying around.

What rims are you using? And what is you outside tire to outside tire measurement?

Not sure what they are, but they're made by HPI. And we are 9.5" from outside to outside over here.

Well, I'm not worried about cones, I'm building a scale rig of my 1:1 crawler. My 1:1 is 84" wide outside to outside and this will be an 1/8 scale so that means the tires need to be 10.5" outside to outside.
