Xl-5/12t on 3S = fireball
18.5 Goat on 3S = not fast enough

I thought I would try something different...

Novak Havoc 3S with the Ballistic 8.5

So far this system is nuts! I was doubling jumps that I didn't even know were there before I'm taking it to my local track tonight to race some slash guys with my "rock crawler"

The only other changes I've made to the rig were switching to 20wt. oil to eliminate some body roll and stiffer foams to keep the tires from folding under. Action pics coming soon

haha, I'll put the 18.5 back in for a race. The 8.5 seemed like it would crawl ok, but not great. It'll definitely be fun though

i just need a new ESC, the sidewinder didn't like the racer so ill try an FXR in it. and im thinking the same, stiffer foam and lighter oil.
