200$ killer pebble crawler
 

What is the best crawler/ upgraded truck for under 200$ australian.
The crawling at my place isnt good so i am looking at TTTT ( table top truck trials) or indoor pebble crawling. Can be 2wd but must have good suspension and u must be able to lock the diffs easily.
1/18 and smaller.
I have an old 1/10 servo that can be used.
Keep in mind this wont just be a TTTT or crawler. It will do jumps and drag races. Handling should be good

whats the max deminsions you can have? because the rc18mt is 235mm long and 182mm wide.

I would recomend getting a pti mmt It would be a good all around basher.

that truck is tight, looks bullet proof 2! i always forget about anythaing smaller then the tlt i dont know why. nice thinking CrawlerFreak

don't know about Aussie dollars, but the Losi Mini LST should be around 200 US when it comes out later this month. what's the exchange rate? maybe someone here could ship you one if you can't get Losi stuff over there.

if you want to go smaller you could get a Kyosho Mini-Z Overland... they are 1/28 scale and with a few mods and good tires they are EXTREMELY capable....2WD though.... but still capable... they even include a diff lock for the rear

$200au is gonna be about $150usd, so the new Losi "Mini LST" may be out of the question unless you want to save up some more (which would be my suggestion).

TTTT, jumps, and drag racing is gonna be an odd combination if you want top performance in each, but hey jusyt get something and bash with it untill you decide you enjoy one facet of the experiance more.

i run my 1:18 nylint, but smaller would be cool.

too bad the overland isn't 4WD (it's 1/28 scale).... but with the new 4WD mini-z you never know what might be down the pike

For jumping, and indoor running. You want a Kyosho Overland.

I love mine.... They crawl decently for what they are, they jump small jumps well enough, are alot of fun as trial trucks and scale offroading.

A-tech is the japanese distributor of the truck. Venom used to be the US distributor, but schumacher took over.

Anyway, like someone else said, crawling, drag racing, and jumping just don't go together no matter what way you slice it. Its like asking someone if you can rock crawl with a subaru WRX because you want a car that can go fast, rally, rock crawl, and drive on water. Its just not going to do all those things effectively.

Bassically 1/18 th or smaller. I could go to 200$us but i would prefer not.
Had a look at a leo x. Tons of flex.
Havent u guys heard about the mini z monster trucks. Not much suspension(like the overland but there 4wd.

it's a car subject but you get the idea. 1/43 scale and yes it's r/c. i hacked up a slot car and a die cast Morris Minor (for those who are neither Australian or British car nuts) and booty-fabbed a steering mechanism using an HS-55 and airplane pushrod connectors.

no suspension, though. my old sausage fingers had a hard enough time just getting this far.

The Mini Z monster trucks are NOT 4WD... the chassis and drivetrain is the same as the Overland... but with big wheels, and some different suspension components

for $45 you can get a 1:18 nylint crawler/works great out of box.

but you can't jump them...and they are too slow to race .. he's looking for more of an all-around vehicle

Yeah but if you spend $45. on a nylint you still got $100 left over and you can buy somthing faster. Rock crawling and drag racing :? from one truck ?

i would personally go with a venom mini giant, they are pretty versatile and you can do a lot with them. thay are pretty cheap now too. check ebay. but i must jump on the wagon with everyone else and say it, you arent going to be able to do more than one of those things WELL with one truck. so buy a lot of different pinions when you set it up, and get friendly with changing your gears a LOT.

Focus on one area otherwise you'll end up with one truck that sux at everything.
