The only actually TLT part left there are the axles. If your looking for replacement parts or upgrades, any TLT part will work. http://www.tcscrawlers.com/By-Truck-...p-1-c-251.html http://rcpcrawlers.com/home.php?cat=17 http://www.shop.rpphobby.com/categor...?categoryId=93 http://www.montanascaledesigns.com/s...me1kki5h1snog4 Last edited by ThinkTank; 05-26-2009 at 02:51 PM. Thanks for the links. So to understand this correctly. This was a stock TLT and someone has added extra parts and made it longer/bigger? I seen the stock TLT and it was smaller looking then mine. I was like no way is that the same crawler I have. Like I said I am new to this whole crawler thing. I just bought one knowing nothing about them exccept that they can 4x4 awsomely!! |

Haha first I need to learn the new lingo. I take it scaler is another word for basher? If so that would be me. Just a basher out having fun in the backyard or out at the lake. To be 100% honest i've had this for a couple months now and its just been setting around. I'm more of a Nitro guy. I guess I was just bi curious lol. Most likely when I get my 30 post 30 days here at RCcrawler I will post it for sale.. Last edited by Pain.; 05-26-2009 at 03:35 PM. |

You can reuse most of the parts. I would just change the shocks and change the chassis to a K2 Series chassis and 60mm shocks. Here is what I mean. http://reignrc.com/reignrc/downloads...0Bld%20Doc.pdf Edit: There are alot of other good deals in the FS forum. If you have some extra cash, I would buy a star now to see the classifieds and pick this up and reuse the electronics from the TLT. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=180245 Last edited by ThinkTank; 05-26-2009 at 03:49 PM. If you are still planning to go the SCALER(basher) route, Invest in the traxxas water proof electronics. This will allow you to still play in the rain or go in water without ruining anything. Traxxas knows how to keep the fun going when up against water. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php? |

Thats what people were building before the "day of the full kit" a little of this and a little of that maybe a home made chassis. The rigs were not as capable but the creativity was far greater it was a fun period. The truck looks something built between 2006-2007 not all that long ago it kind of shows how quickly the evolution has occurred.

| Hardly. "Scalers" are highly modified, very detailed replicas of real 1:1 trucks you'd see in the real world. They are not for bashing. At least mine ain't. I drive mine the same way I'd drive a real truck for the most part, trying not to turn it over or tear things up... |

Ahhh the good ol days, takes me back to one of my first crawlers, strangely enough an RBX BBY. To think I used to kick some butt at comps with this is kinda funny. Narrowed pede wheels are the shizat. |
