I aint that crazy, but yes, i fabbed the engine block, jack stands and more. I am running the axles upside down and the skids are off a jugg and they work pretty well. The truck is a good running little beast and you should be able to see a complete article in the February issue of RC Driver.

you can buy the jackstands pretty cheaply along with that engine hoist from harborfreight

thats a really killer project, I love the mini-z motor that turns the fan!

The jack stands at harbor frieght are pretty cool, but they are pretty big. I chewed those out of some aluminum about 2 years ago.
