He's built me a couple of sweet chassis in the past, very awesome work!

well thanks to a couple of good friends here on RCC the racer doesn't have to worry about breaking axles anymore. as soon as i get my new 19t motor (tomorrow) and slipper clutch (next week) the racer will be in pretty damn good shape.

went out and did some race prep at my favorite crawl/bash spot. im really liking the mamba max/3s/19t combo. when geared low (12/90) it crawls awesome but will still do donuts in dirt.

Looks like it's working good. Did the motors work ok for ya?

I've been bit, chassis on the way.

hell yeah the yokomo 19t is perfect when geared to 12/90. crawls great and still does donuts. geared any higher and it stalls.

yeah its a fun rig, it'll have CVDs in the rear axle soon, currently getting it ready for its first race this weekend in St George UT. the only problem i have right now is eating spur gears. it needs a slipper and a better motor plate. the older AX10 transmissions have weak motor plates.

man that rig looks good

a slipper and a DNA motor plate would solve all your issues. I'm still on my first spur gear

I'll have the original in top shape for a showdown on the red rocks... 5 days and counting

Mess'n with ya. If I remember correct (I bumped my head a lot, sooo) Reedy motors are Yokomo based. I ended up with a bunch of the motors after the regionals at my track, Reedy (AE) supplied them for 19t spec. class. I held on to one for my rig I bought off Chris. Can't wait to get it built, will have to build as funds come in.

For something solid axle, and that'll still crawl, that sounds pretty dang fun!

it is man, when its not burning up motors, its a blast! right now it'll eat up a 19t epic or reedy in about 5-6 2200mah packs. i need to go brushless.

figured i'd post up a little update on this rig. its eaten up a few 19t motors, and is now running an Epic 27t. these things seem to last longer than any other motor ive put in it. and i think the 27t on 3s is perfect. i put some losi comp claws on it and i need to do some foam tuning, its a little bouncy.

no action shots, sadly. next time.
