I wonder if we could rig up a remote disconect swaybar on that thing. That would help alot and you could disconect it when you got to a crawl section.

honestly, it doesnt have much body roll. if you watch it drive it stays flat and just traction rolls when steered too hard. im gonna lower it some and swap to 15wt oil. i actually think that if it would body roll some it would handle better.

The easiest way to correct from traction rolling is to have less traction. Maybe a 7700kv brushless on 4s?

i was thinking about going back to some proline tires personally. the comp claws are a little taller and they sure as hell grab better. i HAVE to drift it through corners or its gonna roll, if i cant get it to break loose then its going over.

when are we sending shit out for powdercoating?

As soon as the suspension on the 6x6 is tested ok ill strip it down. Im also thinking about powdercoating my bullies to see how it holds up. Maybe something obscene like orange, LOL.

well the berg is gone and this tuber is my comp rig now. sitting at exactly 12.5" and only 2 1/4" belly clearance, with no dig. should be exciting.

HA, no its got a 35t in it right now... i havent found a 27t that'll last more than about 7-10 packs. this thing eats up brushed motors, and i can't afford a decent sensored brushless system right now.

well, she's all torn down. the TLTs have not held up well to 2.2s, 3 cell and jumping. ive gone through 2 diffs, 4 bearings, 2 fatrock Cs, 2 knuckles, 1 tie rod, 2 shock shafts and bent one mayhem wheel... its getting rebuilt as a 1.9 rig with a shorter WB, softer springs and semi-open diffs. which should help keep things in one peice. updates coming soon.

Wow that at least lets me know not to do that to mine I was thinking of swapping out my motor and playing with it. Mine is not a tuber and they are stock axles still. I wonder what axles will hold up to play like that. I would like to make a KOH type of crawler at some point.

Nope. You'll snap stubshafts off left and right. The cvds are the only way to go, Hell they're the only parts that haven't broken!

figured i'd post up a small update before going to bed.

got the chassis sand blasted, got the axles rebuilt, started mocking up for ideas. looks like im gonna be doing some tubework on it over the next few days. hopefully ill be able to get a hold of an R2 trans and fit some kind of interior in there.. im already liking the direction its going.

2" belly, 11" WB, 1.9s...

sorry for the shitty phone pic, the Nikon needs to be charged.

thanks man, yeah he did. Ive had to make some changes to it to accommodate the lower ride height and shorter WB but Ive tried to keep it subtle. I'm hoping to PC it before i reassemble it, probably black or dark gray or something. ill get pics up soon.
