| My tlt Mx-evo'09.1
hi, here's the evolution of my tlt chassis cause I had difficulties to setup the rear suspension on my last one , when I wanted to use soft spring the torque twist came back decreasing capabilities on the rocks So , there are the mods done: - lower upper links on the chassi side , also made them longer. - replaced the axial tranny +ckrc dig by a R2D (the motor was the Wrong side for the tlt axle ) - relocated motor holes in the r2d plate to lower it as possible (about 5mm I wonder why it's not like this from the start) - the chassi is 10 mm more compact in height - no tranny plate just a plastic sheet to slide over the rocks Last edited by SilverRidge; 04-11-2009 at 04:12 AM. |

I would atleast route your wires differently. With a few roll overs I think the fins might start digging into them. Other than that it looks good.

Nice looking rig! I was wondering where you were going with it when the pics showed only the side panels of the chassis. Body panels fit great! How is the torque twist now? What was your fix? |

looks awesome! the design is what's cool, cause if you ever get tired of the "scale tuber" look, you can remove it and run a full body, giving you more of a "comp" look |

with that setup, motor on the right side, better link placement on the chassis I can run with softer suspension than before with minimal torque twist the right front wheel only left of about 5mm sometimes in kind of little jumps in vertical passes where wheelspeed is needed like at the end of the vid , I suppose I could reduce that bouncing by changing my star cut foams by memory foam Last edited by SilverRidge; 08-05-2009 at 02:08 AM. | |
