Not only does this thing look sick but it performs as well.

I was VERY impressed with it's performance at the Flatirons Fred. This thing made childs play of "The Wall of Death".

I've been doing a little more testing with these tires and the 24 series wheels. I haven't glued them yet and I haven't had a tire come off yet either, which surprises me. They work great, no hex problems or link rubbing issues with the wideners. The only problem I see with them is the narrow width, even with wideners overall width is barely 9 1/2" wide. I don't have any weight in the wheels yet either, I'm sure that will help.

The HPI Spike rims I have give almost an inch wider stance without wideners, 10 1/4". I did narrow them up on the inner bead as much as possible. It flexes alot better with this set-up too, because of the extra width. I'm not running weights in the Spike rims yet either.

More testing with weights will tell.

Here's a pic from the front with the 24 Series wheels and G-made wideners, 9 1/2" overall width.

NICE work Bender! Top notch work like usual. It was a great performer at stage 1 and now it's got the looks to match.

What type and length shocks are you using? They look Losi to me.

Also, are the shocks fully compressed in that flex pic you have posted?

Can't wait to see some vids of it!

Thanks cman.

The shocks are Duratrax, I think. Sparky J bought a set of eight, and gave these 4 to me, so I'd have to ask him.

The shocks are pretty much compressed in the pics.

I'm working on a video, it'll be up soon.

Ah, could have fooled me. The shock bodies look like Losi to me. Then again, the Duratrax Evader looks losi-ish also

What length shocks are they? 3 1/2" front and 4" rear maybe?

Can't wait for the video. Will it be the sequel to Badger's vid? After all you did name your rig Shaggin Wagon so it would only seem right

I don't think Badger's vid can be topped.

They could be Losi shocks, they're 4 1/8" eye to eye. I used a Traxxas rod end ball to space it away from the frame, with fuel line between 2 flat washers for the upper shock mount.

Great vid! You have some killer crawl spots up there. All I have is a giant sand pile here in town :(

Those new rims do look a bit narrow...

Thanks Gimbal. This spot is actually right outside my door, in the park. It's not real big, but it's perfect for testing.

That is one of the cleanest videos I've seen. What are you using to record?

Thanks, I have a Canon Powershot S1 IS, with a 1GB memory card.

I've been using a tripod lately too, which definitely helps.
