The wheelbase is 12 1/2". I've pretty much dialed out the torque twist. I run softer springs in front then the rear, I also run a thicker shock oil in the left rear shock.

The CJ body will still see action once in a while. I like swapping bodies out to mix it up a little.

I'm an idiot. After I read this thread/posted I went thru the thread in the vender section---duh

But I have to give you kudo's on the setup--very nice work and if I wasn't the way I am (if ya knew me you would understand that, lol) I would buy a set of your plates..

One thing I have tried to figure out on how you mount the pede tranns--- I assume you must have drilled new holes in the trans (into the area where there are 4 holes--same holes I used to mount my pede in my tlt )...

The tranny mounts to my chassis through the stock suspension pivot points.

Like so.....

Hey Bender,

I always wanted to ask why you chose those those two pivot points for mounting the tranny instead of the four original holes?

Is it because of design copy rights against RBX?

I just didn't want any screws in the tranny skid. Since I was making it out of Delrin. I didn't want to defeat the purpose of that, by having screws sticking out of the skid plate. I wanted the bottom of the chassis to be as smooth as possible.

Or instead of ruining a nice chassis by drilling more holes you could get new cases.
