Default Shaggin' Wagon.......Stage 2 Build-up

I finally got Stage 2 machined up and assembled.

Stats:
Custom chassis, upper link mounts/servo mounts and Delrin tranny skid
TLT axles, diffs filled with JB Weld
Stampede tranny, 84t spur
Maxx 2.5 shafts........ Link to install of driveshafts
Integy 55t lathe motor, 12t pinion
Ball bearings throughout
Crappy ESC
Hitec 645mg servo
G-made TLT wideners from www.thecrawlerstore.com
24 series TC rims
2.2 Moabs
1O5mm Maxx tierods
CJ-8 body
The rest is pretty much stock TLT hardware

Some pics.............a few of these were taken before I added some extra upper shock mounting hole to the chassis.

Oooh, is that custom engraving? Nice 8-) Looks great - nice and clean design, with lots of adjustability.

The chassis is off the hook... Will it be available soon? Patience is not one of my virtues. I love the adjustability. Marvelous work!

Thanks for the compliments guys. 8-)

Nluvwithxlr8ing, I figured I'd keep the same paint scheme for the shaftys twins.

EeePee and Mad Scientist, the 2 logos where milled with a ball end mill in the CNC.

Unimoger, I will try and get a video together soon.

Spoon, very soon, ygpm.

LMAO at syco133!! I may have to hold you to that.

Everyone likes twins.

That looks awesome. I like the custom touches to the chassis. Which 24 series TC wheels are those? I like the narrow wheel look but I thought 24 series wheels were too small.

Thanks, the rims are called "Eight Ball" rims. They're only about an inch wide, but a little bigger in diameter then the standard 2.2 rim. With the wideners the rig is still only 9 1/2" wide.

Here's a link to my thread on these rims.
24 Series Eight Ball rims fit 2.2 tires.

Good lookin rig . I know the UTRC guys will not let you run anything larger than a 2.2 size rim. I guess you would just have to woop up on the supers.

Thanks.

I've got a set of Mashers on HPI Spike rims, and a set of Moabs on Spike rims, for comps. I just use this tire and wheel combo for bashing.

Amazing work man. That thing is art. I love the adjustability of it. I'm also kind of glad you ditched the power wagon.

Possibly a working 2-speed basher (56k warning)

Looks great, as usual. But then again, I wouldn't expect anything less. When these are available for sale, will they come with 1-2-3 blocks for posing/mock-up? JK Looks mean!
