|  Da Bug - TLT based 1.9 comp rig
Didn't want to run a belly button Losi rig...          Backwards pics, since its done and in tuning now. Parts list... TLT axles, SEVERELY narrowed Hand made rear straight axle adaptors front aluminum C's, clocked Axial drive shafts Axial trans, geared 14/87 Integy 35 turn Hand made chassis, 70% replica of my 2.2 Berg, running a Da Wicked Bull chassis Axial SCX wheels/tires, F400 Panther foams. Bug body Sidewinder/Spektrum/2 cell/CCBEC on a no-name servo shocks are of unknown origin, some touring car shocks I had around.                                 Links are all solid aluminum thats been drilled and tapped for studs, then lowers got Teflon sleeves. Chassis is 6061 Aluminum, skid is Delrin. at first I tried a Mamba25, but it wasn't doing the job at all, so in went the Sidewinder and I rewired the entire rig. Anyway, there it is... |

Killer build.  Are those washers on the inside of the wheel? Is that for extra weight or to strengthen the hex? You aren't kidding on the SEVERELYnarrowed axles.  What's the width on them?

| No kidding Narrow is right! pretty stout looking "little" rig. Same  Do the washers help reinforce the (plastic) hexes? Or just for wheel weight. Either way I like that approach. How are the axles working out since you narrowed them? Nice job |

The washers are just unsprung weight, b ut they are gone now. It's got the new Pro-Line 1.9 BL's, they are nice. The axle shafts are drilled and pinned to the diff. One pin snapped, so I am going to cut some theads on the ends of a steel shaft and run a single shaft through the diff instead, it'll be much stronger. |

| solid axle I've thought about that before. Wondered if it was possible. ;) Guess anything is possible, with right, tooling, materials, free time. If/when you do, post some pics and a review. |

Nope, the little "bugger" has gone off to the big course in the sky! I can say I gave it more of a try than most, built something completely out of the box that hadn't been done before, but in the end it just didn't grab me like 2.2 or even more so, scale! |
