Technically it's a unibody. As long as the sides measure 3 inches it should be good to go. Hi-tops yes, flip-flops no.

I can't believe we're really talking about this

Think about it! Why not? there are lots of shoes that are very lightweight. Would have a bit of resistance or "suspension". Most people already have shoes so making a new purchase of a body, chassis, links, shocks, etc. would not be needed.

I'll give it a whirl too!

Hmmmmm...........Do I smell a new crawling class?
Despite not being comp legal, flip flops would be cool too. Much lower CG.

It is a torsen type chassis, and I must admit, was pretty impressed with the flex. While needing a longer WB, it would be suited better for MOA setup being the trans was hanging on about everything.
Keep an eye out for v2!

Default Boot Crawler

You really put your "Foot" down on this build. Talk about "Kicking" ass on the rocks. Hopefully it "Runs" better than it looks, because that boot looks like it stinks.

What size shoe would you need to get a full 12.5 WB?

Paging Al Bundy....

Hm, being mine are a US size 12, I didn't measure the WB, but I'm guessing to get a 12" WB I'd need atleast a 14 or larger.

A guy I work with wears a size 15. His shoe measures 14 1/4 inches heel to toe. (Yes I measured his shoe.)

Thorsteenster thought that to get at least a 12" wb a size 14 or larger was needed.
Besides he saw this build and the video. And wanted to put in his 2 cents on it.
