Chassis Choices question

I'm just getting back into crawling after a lengthy hiatus and i'm in the process of re-doing my XRC chassis'd crawler.

I don't really know what, if any, new developments have come about with chassis for the TLT axles in the past 2 or so years.

I thinking i would like a tuber as I don't like running bodies, but I don't have the skills to build one myself. I also like the ultra low chassis that a few people are putting together for the Losi's and Axials.

So I quess my question is two-fold.
#1 What comp chassis would you go with if you were starting a TLT rig right now? and
#2 If you went the tuber route, who here can make me a good one without breaking the bank?

if i were starting fresh on a TLT comp rig, i'd look at 3 chassis.

mayhem ls2.0:

CDW 1.0

as for tubers, look at metal fume fabrication and death metal garage in the vendors section..

Another option

Another option is the Axial Ax-10 chassis.
That's the way I went. Made my own links with allthread inside aluminum tube. Trial & error with your links. Simple to make with a hacksaw & vise. Your imagination is your only limit.

i actually used a axial base chassi and all axial links and a r2dig trans and it worked excellent.ran like a axial

ah, don't forget the groundhaug marauder chassis...but skip the axial. it's a stock clunker for sure. great platform, but still...

I fully agree with dieselfuel... the Mayhem ls2.0, and the CDW 1.0 are both really awesome, the Incision is probably an awesome chassis too, but the looks alone turn me away from it...

The Hellstrom from JP is an awesome chassis too, and it's cheaper"thumbsup"

Gatekeepr's GC-1 chassis

Probably what I'd get.
